We're pleased to say that the first SRRA Blizzard Run - Ski - Run Relay was held on Sunday, February 28. Here are the event's results and some photographs.
Thanks to everyone who ran (and volunteered for) the seventh annual Super Seven Fun Run, famous for its hot dogs and hot chocolate. The help of volunteers Brian, Ed, Murrray, Dan, Kendrick, Heather & Colin made the event possible and enjoyable. The run director will work hard at trying to coordinate next year with The Running Room, so that both the Super Seven and the Hypothermic Half aren't held on the same day!
Here are some photographs.
The 32nd edition of the Saskatchewan Marathon will be held on Sunday, May 30, 2010 - mark your calendars and plan to join us in some capacity. On line registration is now open.
The Saskatchewan Marathon committee is in place and we're already hard at work making a great event for you, your family and your friends. We have a new location for the race expo, the pasta dinner and the start/finish area.
We've got our guest speaker lined up. We're very pleased to announce that marathoner Dick Beardsley is our pasta dinner speaker.

Contact us if you'd like to purchase one of these items.
SRRA members will receive a weekly newsletter on Thursdays. Watch for yours, as a member. It will contain, among other things, the following Monday's speed workout plan for the four groups.
The workouts start at 6:30pm sharp, every Monday. We'll advise the membership if there won't be a run on any Monday. Please come a little early, especially for the timed runs.
We want to stress that the entire Monday series is meant to be workouts, for runners of all levels. The monthly timed events are races, if you want them to be, but we want them to stay FUN!
The Mendel Gallery coffee shop usually closes its doors at 6pm, but they will be staying open for us, so bring some money!
We've been getting a very good turnout. We hope to see you again and newcomers, too, next week.
Please see the Race Info page for more information.
