A record number of participants made this year's event a great success. Results are now available on the RESULTS page. There are some photos available for viewing.
This year's event is being held on Saturday, October 23. An information sheet is now available. As well, here's the registration form. The lengths of the three legs have now been determined. They are approximately:
Note that the route has changed from last year's because of construction. Route maps will be available soon.
The SRRA now has a couple of clothing items available for purchase at really good prices. We have: Brooks Women's and Men's singlets. These are priced at just $25.00:
We also still have the Sugoi balaclava with the SRRA logo, at a great price - just $15.00:
Contact us if you'd like to purchase one of these items.
SRRA members will receive a weekly newsletter on Thursdays. Watch for yours, as a member. It will contain, among other things, the following Monday's speed workout plan for the four groups.
The workouts start at 6:30pm sharp, every Monday. We'll advise the membership if there won't be a run on any Monday. Please come a little early, especially for the timed runs.
We want to stress that the entire Monday series is meant to be workouts, for runners of all levels. The monthly timed events are races, if you want them to be, but we want them to stay FUN!
The Mendel Gallery coffee shop usually closes its doors at 6pm, but they will be staying open for us, so bring some money!
We've been getting a very good turnout. We hope to see you again and newcomers, too, next week.
Please see the Race Info page for more information.
