SRRA Club Bylaws
Here are the current bylaws.
The Monday Workouts
The workouts for SRRA members start at 6:30pm sharp, every Monday.
- The monday night workouts are for all levels of runners. The workouts are designed by Bruce Craven, a physiotherapist and coach. There is always a RECOVERY run (slow and easy) and a POWER workout (with an easier and hard option). The power workout is done as repeats for a given time; or distance at a moderate pace. The last option is a SPEED workout - and there are two options within it. It has shorter faster repeats with a rest in between depending on the workout for that day.
- Go to the SRRA Calendar of Events page for details - just click on the upcoming Monday. Come out to the workout for detailed instructions.
- We will also be having a long run on Saturday mornings at 8:30 am. It will also have different levels and will be to help people do their long runs if they are training for the 34th Saskatchewan Marathon's half-marathon or marathon in late May. There'll be more details here and in the weekly SRRA member newsletter soon.
SRRA's Age Policy
At a recent meeting of the Directors of the SRRA, a policy regarding age limits for our events was adopted. Here are the age guidelines.
